basikal

Assalamualaikum, salam sejahtera dan selamat hari rabu diucapkan kepada semua rakan pengunjung dengan harapan semoga semuanya sihat sihat belaka. Hari ni dah bermula balik kerja seperti biasa setelah cuti berehat di rumah selama dua hari yang dihabiskan dengan melayan filem filem seram.

Pagi tadi semasa dalam perjalanan ke tempat kerja aku terpandang beberapa pekerja asing berkayuh basikal menuju ke destinasi masing masing. Kalau dulu mungkin kita hanya nampak diorang ni berjalan kaki je tapi sekarang ni dah mampu untuk membeli basikal sebagai kemudahan untuk ke mana mana.

Kalau mengimbas waktu aku kanak kanak dulu, aku tak merasa pun nak memiliki sebijik basikal. Tak macam kanak kanak sekarang ni termasuk la anak aku tu. Kecik kecik lagi dah ada basikal roda tiga tu. 


Mungkin waktu tu sebab aku sekeluarga duduk kat rumah pangsa jadik takkan nak bagi gak aku basikal. Kat mane pulak aku nak berkayuh. Dan masa tu jugak lansung tak terlintas dalam minda aku ni nak merengek rengek mintak bapak aku belikan basikal.

Bila bapak aku pencen dan kami sekeluarga berpindah ke Perak, baru la aku mengenali basikal. Tapi sebelum aku mengenali basikal tu aku terlebih dahulu mengenali motorsikal. Masa tu pakcik aku memiliki sebijik vespa dan dengan vespa tu jugak la setiap petang aku bertenggek kat belakang pakcik aku tu ronda ronda kampung.


Berbalik pada cerita basikal ni. Kat rumah nenek aku gak ada sebijik basikal tua palang tu. Dengan basikal tua palang ni jugak la aku belajar mengayuh. Kelakar jugak bila dikenangkan sebab palang tu separas dada aku bila aku berdiri bersebelahan dengan basikal tua tu jadik aku hanya mampu untuk menyelit dibawah palang tu untuk mengayuh basikal tu buat pertama kali.


Bila dah agak amatur sikit dengan basikal palang ni, aku dah boleh duduk berkayuh. Namun cabarannya semakin bertambah terutama bila nak berhenti atau menghadapi keadaan nak terjatuh. Beberapa kali jugak aku merisikokan pusaka keluarga yang amat berharga ni. Sib baik la tak pernah parah dibantai palang basikal tu.

Bapak aku ni tak suka nak manjakan anak sangat. Kalau nak apa apa, maka biasanya aku terpaksa berusaha sendiri dengan membantu kerja kerja di kebun kelapa sawitnya atau sawah nenek aku. Kira kumpul duit sendiri la kalo nak beli apa apa. Kalau tak cukup baru la dia tambah.


Hampir setahun jugak la aku berusaha mengumpul dana kewangan untuk sebijik basikal impian. Tapi tu pun bapak aku tambah sikit baru dapat beli sebijik. Punya la eksaited dapat basikal sendiri. Sanggup aku tak membelanjakan setiap duit poket yang dibekalkan tiap kali ke sekolah, duit upah hasil membantu di kebun kelapa sawit dan sawah, dan mana mana duit yang boleh aku kumpulkan.

Tu tak termasuk lagi hari raya. Dari pagi sampai hampir maghrib baru balik rumah sebab nak kumpul duit raya. Zaman aku dulu mane de orang bagi duit kertas. Kalau dapat duit raya orang bagi seringgit tu macam dah banyak sangat. Selalu tu kalau tak 20 sen, 50 sen la. Sekarang ni kalo bagi kat bebudak 50 sen aku ingat mau diorang tarik muka je pehtu cakap kat kawan kawan supaya jangan datang rumah yang tu sebab dia bagi 50 sen je.

Tapi sekarang ni aku dah tak mengayuh basikal dah. Cuma terasa rindu pulak nak mengayuh kembali. Petang petang ronda ronda kawasan perumahan tu dengan basikal pun best jugak rasanya. Selain dapat jimatkan minyak petrol yang semakin naik harga ni, dapat mengurangkan pencemaran udara, dapat jugak manfaat kesihatan kalau berbasikal ni. Nanti la, pasti akan aku beli jugak basikal untuk diri aku sendiri, untuk wifey aku dan anak aku tu. Tak pun beli je basikal tua palang tu pehtu jadi macam Do Re Mi. Hehehe..

  5. kenderaan rasmi sy ke sekolah..dari sekolah rendah ke sekolah menengah...basikal...huhu...

    arwah datuk ada beca...ingt masa kecik2 dulu...ronda kampung guna beca datuk...sampai2 rumah..tgk datuk dah tercongok kt pintu...tunggu cucu2 dia pulangkan beca....hehehe...

  7. haha..x boleh bayangkan macam mana ler kayuh basikal celah palang tu. tapi apapun, memang best kalau daripada penat lelah sendiri dapat benda yang kita nak. den pun harap-harap leylah beli motor superbike sebijik... -.-"
